Pranav Rastogi - Co-Founder & CEO, Ethiopia Program Director, Fundraising Director



Pranav started at Cisco in 2007 after graduating from the Georgia Institute of  Technology. During our trip he taught the very well received Engineering Economics  and Technology Entrepreneurship class. Pranav is a wicked awesome person who  has a lot of ambition and yearns to help the world. He writes many To-Do lists on anything he finds and surprisingly delivers on all of them Smile Working with Pranav  is  very enjoyable as he is easy going, organized, and fun. He brings great vision,  passion and leadership to our organization and is determined to make a difference in  this world. 

 

Megha Jain - Co-Founder & COO, Ethiopia Program Director, Donations Program Director



Megha has been working at Cisco since July 2007 as a part of VTG after graduating  with Masters in Computer Science from University of Michigan. She mainly worked  on  the Women Entrepreneurship and Games sessions, both of which were popular  with  the students. Megha brings a lot of enthusiasm and diverse ideas to our team  that  helps us develop ideas about our classes as well as our program in general. If  you do  happen to come across Megha don't forget to discuss the nuances of saving  the world  over helping the world!

 

Neil Radia - Co-Founder & CFO, Ecuador Program Director



Neil graduated from Cornell University and started working at Cisco in 2007. He  played a pivitol role during the planning and execution phase of the Ethiopia program. He  taught the Network Security class to advanced students along with Internet 101 to  kids. Neil brings in a lot of energy and passion to the team and is always striving for  the greater good. Interesting thing to know about Neil is that he can eat the spiciest  chilies in the world but he could not handle Ethiopia Chili..do ask him the story if  you happen to stumble across him.

 

Norberto Mujica - Co-Founder & President, RACHEL Program Director


This tall lanky Argentenian has been working with Cisco since 2000. He is extremely  passionate about our work in Ethiopia and has gone above and beyond to find the  right set  of tools and the strategy needed to help and work with the students.  Norberto taught the Communication and Collaboration Tools (Web  2.0) class to both  Intermediate and Advanced students. Norberto also brings a lot of  fresh ideas to the  team along with his a strong technical background and a lot of laughter! Don't forget  to ask him about his  mule ride in Ethiopia!

 

Marie Gassee - Sierra Leone Program Director, Marketing and Fundraising Director 

 

Marie graduated from UCLA, studying Economics and Global Studies, and then came to work for Cisco Systems. She is currently in the Marketing department, working for the Small Business segment. Marie went to Sierra Leone in the spring of 2009 to teach computer classes and set up the Rachel server at the DOVE orphanage. She hopes to continue to help bringing education and technology to the developing world. Her hobbies include horseback riding and traveling. 

Jeremy Schwartz - Sierra Leone Program Director, Fundraising Director 

 

Jeremy started at Wells Fargo Securities after graduating UCLA in 2008.  During his time at UCLA Jeremy participated in the Semester at Sea study abroad program aboard the MV Explorer.  Inspired by classes and experiences aboard the ship which created an awareness for human rights and the power of ICTs, Jeremy joined World Possible.  Along with Marie Gassee, Jeremy led a World Possible trip to the DOVE orphanage in Sierra Leone to deliver laptops, a RACHEL server and teach basic computer skills to the students there. 

  

Barry Bruins - Partnership Director, Recruitment Director, RACHEL Program Coordinator

 

Barry has been a network volunteer since 1996 when he started putting public schools on the internet.  He is also a volunteer on Cisco's Disaster Incident Response Team where he deployed networks for Hurricane Ike Relief in Texas.  He loves the thrill from getting people connected and seeing how the internet changes their life.  Barry is a Director of Engineering at Cisco Systems where he develops network management software.  He loves travel, especially if a backpack and hiking is involved.
